‘let me out and tell it now’

Not a soul knows what really happened
You want it locked up
The only ones that know are the ones involved
Oh how the secret wants out though
And you find yourself running once more
Trying to hide this secret
Trying to figure out how to fix it
Avoiding the whole thing completely
Making people close to you avoid those that were involved
You don’t want people to know

Then you find yourself wanting to tell the truth to someone
To be able to avoid them
You just want to die inside as this secret you hide
Consumes and eats away at you
Leaving what’s left to be a shell of yourself
